This stuff is amazing. Gently applied to dirty white gutter with brush on a pole (no scrubbing). Waited a minute and rinsed with a hose and my gutters were white again. This stuff works as described and much cheaper than a professional cleaning.

Did great job on gutters but beware of siding unless you want to wash that also… lightened up the paintwork!

Fall leaves were clogging my gutters again, turning a simple chore into a full day hassle with the ladder and gloves. Grabbed this Chomp gutter cleaner after seeing it pop up in searches for easy solutions. The scoop design hooks right onto the gutter edge, letting me pull out wet leaves and debris without climbing up high. Used it last weekend on my two story house, and it cleared everything fast, no more scooping by hand or dealing with stuck gunk. Durable plastic holds up, and the handle's comfy for longer jobs. This works really well and the stains came off, however it took some of the paint off the bottom of my gutters down to the bare metal. Not sure why that happened.

Please look at the pictures; I think they say it all. Pic 1: The lower gutter was cleaned with CHOMP! (this product) and it looks significantly better (that's about 15 years of build up). Pic 2: both top and bottom gutters were cleaned using CHOMP!. From 10 feet away, they look almost new. I used a mop bucket and a medium bristled brush (on a pole). Most spots wiped off with the brush, some required a little scrubbing, then I rinsed it with the hose. The chemicals did turn red on the driveway (pavers) but rinsed off easily and did not leave stains. My house is about 2800 sq ft and it took me 1.5 - 1.75 gallons and about 3.5 hours to complete. As for safety, I was wearing glasses (and I highly recommend it), I did not wear gloves or any other protective gear (I was wearing shorts and a tee shirt)- I did not notice any irritation or adverse effect. I did get some in my mouth (once or twice), I do not recommend it as a condiment.

After seeing other reviews mention paint damage, I followed the label directions and first tested CHOMP! on a hidden section of downspout. I sprayed it at full strength and wiped with a sponge; that small area looked fine. I then used it on a more visible, heavily soiled section of gutter above our front entry. I sprayed from the 32-oz bottle, scrubbed with a soft netted sponge, and rinsed immediately. The cleaner removed some of the grime, but very unevenly. Instead of the uniform, weathered look the gutter had before, the remaining dirt is now patchy and more noticeable. The scrubbing also caused portions of paint to bubble and peel, and left shiny circular spots where the finish is damaged but the grime isn’t fully removed. In my case, the initial spot test didn’t predict any of this. If you try CHOMP!, you should test on a hidden area that’s just as dirty as the surface you plan to clean, and scrub with the same thoroughness you’ll actually need. We’re now left with gutters that have uneven dirt and visible paint damage—worse than before using the product. The bottle is nearly full, but since it’s opened and can’t be returned, we’d appreciate guidance on how to dispose of it safely.

I have a white house - vinyl sided raised ranch. My gutters are also white. The home was stick built about 15 years ago, and eventually with the torrential downpours, the tar from the shingles turned them dark gray! This product works exceptionally well! I tried using dish detergent, and a few other cleaners and the coloration LAUGHED AT IT. The key to using this stuff effectively is this: Once you have your solution according to their instructions, apply a section about 6 foot wide with a soft bristle brush or a mop brush, and let set it for about 5 minutes. DO NOT RINSE YET. Apply another coat over the 1st, and actually apply another whole section next to it, so you're working ahead of yourself. Spray off the first section, but leave the 2nd section set up. (Note: If it's stubborn like mine was, you may have to repeat application. And if you do have to repeat, perform the same process all over again - mopping both the 1st section again a little more rigorous, and applying a 2nd coat over the 2nd section too!) I did a whole house, siding, and gutters and they look amazing. I will comment about the price.. I think it's a bit high for a detergent product, but would I pay it again? You darn betcha! I doubt anything else can match this product, and I tried dish detergent, and all those fancy siding cleaners at the box stores and they all sucked! This stuff really is the ticket!

Works but can take the paint off. Afraid to use again.
