The best way I have found to install these is with a soldering iron. If you are installing these in a blind hole you might have to cut the tip down to install them. These worked great for me but I have only used them in pla and I imagine they would work just as well in petgnor abs.

A little hard to orient these perfectly vertically even with a press. But they are very cheap and it is possible. I have found these useful in early non-load-bearing 3D printed prototypes where I don’t want to throw down the 30cents or more per fitting of better quality inserts. A slight chamfer to the exterior of one side would make these infinitely easier to seat properly. Other brands I can get to seat straight by hand with just an old soldering iron.

I've used a couple of these for my 3d printed items and they work great. I have been making the holes 0.5mm smaller than the biggest diameter of these inserts and that method seems to work well. very handy.

Have not used yet, but it was really annoying how the item arrived. It was a mess inside, as you se on the photo everything was mixed together. It`s going to take some time to sort everything

These are great! I was looking for small threaded inserts for a custom keyboard case. I have had no issues with the threaded inserts cracking or having difficulty screwing like I have with other cheap inserts. Highly recommend.

Listing states these are "Premium brass" in several places. It never says they are just plated. However, they are not brass, they are plated. I'll also mention that whatever they are plated with has a very weak magnetic field, but a magnetic field they do have. Brass is non-ferrous (does not have it's own magnetic field), very important for my current project because i cannot have any magnetic interference. These clearly contain some ferrous metal, and I will have to replace them at my own expense.

These aren't the best inserts I've used and they aren't the strongest but for the price point I'm very satisfied. These hare perfect for 3D printed projects at home.

Work great for 3D printing projects
