Lightweight, good heat, easy to use

Broke after a few months . Very disappointed.

Yes, all caps was necessary. This has everything that I/you need in a hair dryer. It's simple, efficient and designed well. It's lightweight (SO IMPORTANT!); it's easy to hold; the buttons are placed in an intuitive position; it has 3 heat settings and a cold shot; it actually dries my hair noticeably faster; my hair looks healthier and less frizzy (compared to the fried look I get from other hair dryers); the concentrator nozzle isn't too small (a problem I encountered with many "high-end" driers); and it comes in a universally appealing color (silver), instead of some crazy shade of blue, pink or orange. (I don't want a rainbow-colored hair dryer. I want one that looks nice and blends into a modern bathroom when it's sitting out on my counter.) This thing does everything that $200 hair dryers claim to do, but for a fraction of the cost. I looked at every other hair dryer at my local Ulta and Sally Beauty, researched them all, bought 2, and returned them both, because they were too heavy, took too long to dry my hair, the buttons were placed in an annoying position, or they were too piercing to my ears (I'm talking to you, Dyson). The only one that's sort of comparable with all the same features is the famous T3, but it's a lot more expensive. This Hot Tools hair dryer is perfect and it only cost me $50. Highly recommend it.

As far as a hair dryer is concerned, it's fine. Too big to be a travel one though. Lots of speed/temp options which is nice. I was after a lower heat type and this fits the bill.

I have had the same hair dryer for years and it bit the dust. I was so happy to find the same one on Amazon. I had bought another Hot Tools hair dryer for a second home and do not like it very much so when I found this on Amazon I ordered two.

The blower is not real strong But it works well. It’s still to new to see if it last . Seems kind of flimsy. Time will tell !

I previously owned a Hot tools blow dryer and loved it. It was the best hair dryer for my thick course hair. This is why I purchased another Hot Tools hair dryer. When I received it I loved it and was pleased with the purchase. After one week of use I turned the dryer on and heard a loud pop and a flash. It scared me and I immediately shut it off. I turned the dryer back on and it worked but it has not heated properly since then. I had already disposed of the packaging so I could not return it. I am disappointed with the dryer, however it will still dry my thick hair but it takes much longer.
