A lot of these bags from other makers are too thin, these are thick enough to resist puncture. I also prefer to receive oxygen absorbers that match the bag size and these did come with the proper absorbers.

I was apprehensive about long term food packing with mylar and Oxygen Absorbers. I don't know why, guess afraid I would mess something up. But the PackFreshUSA kits were complete, and with very detailed instructions. I read them thoroughly, started with small quantities and then finished with the larger sizes. Very helpful folks!

Bags are high quality, oxygen absorbers old. Not working as they should.

I have never had any problems with their product before but this time 4 of the 5 bags would not vacume seal. Since I bought both the oxygen absorbers and the bags from this company there was a problem with their product. I cut the bags opened and added more of the absorbers multiple times each bag totaling 2500 for the absorbers pouches and still they would not vacuum seal the bags removing all the air. I couldn't see any holes in the bags that would explain the problem but the one that vacuum sealed properly with just 1 absorber is still sealed tightly today with no issues. I don't know why the other 4 bags did not seal properly but the oxygen absorbers the first time used on all 5 bags came from the same package and then I ordered more and still the 4 bags would not vacuum seal properly like normal. I will still order my products from this company because this is the first time I've had this issue with their product but I am not as confident in their product as I had been in the past or that they will keep my food safe for long term storage. Now I check them annually because of this issue.
