Orenburg goat yarn is one of the thinnest in the world, the down hair of Orenburg goats is only 14-18 micrometers and that of Angora goats (mohair) is 22-24 micrometers. Beautifully done
The shawl is very beautiful much better that on the picture, it's more like lace. I purchased it for the warmth, but will use it more for its beauty. The color is much more attractive also, more like light grey. Sorry, that I could not give it to my mom. I brought one like this for her about 50 years ago from Caucasus sky vacation, when back in Russia.

sheds hair
It sheds hair as if it is a sick cat, not quality shawl; the color is rather bluish, not gray, and though it is warm, I don't recommend to buy

This shawl sheds a lot!
While the shawl is beautiful, it sheds terribly. I put it on, and it shed all over me. So disappointed. I had to return it.

Very nice, soft, and warm.
Very soft. I bought this so I could layer with my Pavlovo posad shawls for extra warmth. And my cat thinks it's great to lay on too. So two thumbs up from us in Northern Idaho. Will be ordering more soon. Different color perhaps.
