Nice and relaxing for the most part...
Since there weren't any reviews on this yet, I thought I'd share my thoughts. It was cheap, so I thought I'd try it. And it's not bad, not not that great either. Most of the songs are relaxing background music, and most have kind of a of a new-age/jazz type of sound. You'll probably like most of the tracks.Track 1 is repetitive jazz piano and is extremely irritating.Track 2-3 have a lot of violin and/or flute and have kind of a celtic or Irish sound, which I'm not particularly fond of. But the rest of the CD is great.Track 4,5,6, and 8 are all fairly decent- more of a soft, relaxing melody and not as much of the new-age/jazz sound-- these and are definitely worth keeping for your collection. Tracks 7, 9, and 10 are quite boring and not very melodic. All in all, after listening to the CD a bit more... it's pretty good, and I am upgrading my rating to 4 stars.

Great for enhancing the season!
I really miss Windham Hill compilations and so was happy to find this at a very good price. Most of the tunes are soothing, with a few exceptions. First track is a disappointment, but otherwise, it's a good CD.

Great music and artists
If you are looking for quality ambient music to have on while working, studying or going to sleep, Windham Hill music and the artists are among my top favorites. I listen with earbuds at night and fall to sleep easier as well as if I wake up in the middle of the night, I turn some of this music back on and fall right back to sleep. I play the musice while doing my college courses online as well.Check out the individual artists' own CDs/mp3 music to get even more variety.

Perhaps the best of this series
Perhaps the best of this series of compilations originating shortly before the demise of Windham Hill. A solid 24-bit remastering of the original recordings, Aaberg's "Earth Abides" would be a fitting closure for this great label...it stops me in my tracks every time.

Love these Windam Hill CD's
You can not go wrong with these Windham Hill CD's. I fell in love with Windham Hill ever since I bought my first CD in a Japanese record store in the mid-90's. They have everything from classical to New Age, and most of the CD's contain quality songs throughout the entire CD. I recommend buying them all.

Good Blend of Windham Hill Old School
Most selections were five stars, but not all. The first two were particularly unappealing, but the collection picks up from there.

Harvest
Just another really good mix of Windam Hill classics by various artists under their label. Not to be missed if you like soft music.

Fast delivery as described
Good tracks from a now deceased classic record label, lovely memories of the 90s peaceful and clean music. Great musicianship.
