They’re easy to swallow. Have no harsh smell. Gives you energy and great price. I’ve been on this brand ever since I had my surgery in 2022 and when they were out I tried another brand and you could definitely tell the difference.

**UPDATE 07/11/2025** I wanted to update my review and rating from 1 star to 5 stars. After some research, I discovered that Bariatric Pal has started putting a peppermint scented tab inside to reduce that vitamin smell inside the bottle and it works. I use a pill organizer to keep my supplements organized so I can easily tell if I remembered to take them. After sitting in the pill organizer overnight, the peppermint smell was gone and so was that typical vitamin smell. They literally have no smell which is awesome. Also, Bariatric Pal says you can continue to use the peppermint tab to freshen other things like closets, shoes, or anything that could use it after you run out of vitamins. The vitamins themselves are still the same, great capsules and ingredients we know and have worked so well. It’s a win win. If the peppermint smell or taste bother you, just put your vitamins in a sorter or pull one out a few hours before you plan to take it so it can “air out.” **Original Review** I’ve been taking these vitamins since September 2024 and have always thought they were great. My bloodwork has always been good since I started taking these. They have always been unflavored but I just opened my most recent order and lo and behold a very, very strong peppermint flavor has been added. It’s almost like someone accidentally poured peppermint oil into something along the line that these are produced on so now they’re very off putting because you burp up peppermint. I never had an issue with vitamin or iron burps with this brand which is why I’ve been using it over others, but now I can’t take these with my protein shakes in the mornings like I’ve always done because they cause my shake to taste bad due to the peppermint lingering in your mouth. If you’re allergic to peppermint, you should consider another vitamin because these don’t even list anything on their ingredients that indicate that anything peppermint related has been added.

This multivitamin has been a lifesaver since my bariatric surgery. I only need to take one capsule a day, which is so much easier to manage compared to other brands that require multiple pills. The capsule is easy to swallow and doesn’t upset my stomach. I like that it includes 45 mg of iron along with all the essential vitamins I need to stay healthy and avoid deficiencies. It really feels like it was designed with bariatric patients in mind. Great quality and worth the price for the peace of mind knowing I’m covered with just one capsule daily. Highly recommend for anyone post-surgery!

Good multivitamin for gastric and sleeve consumers! Has a peppermint smell, good texture, Did not cause me upset stomach ! Easy to swallow

Good product. I'm 4 months out from Bariatric Sleeve surgery and my doctor recommended these vitamins to me. They give me some good energy.

These are a great value with good nutrient levels, but I'm removing a star for the peppermint ScentCerts that is included. They're meant to mask the vitamin taste/smell, but the peppermint is SO overpowering that I could taste it, and continued to taste it after the fact. I like the smell of peppermint, but this was too much! I tried removing all the vitamins to a separate container to "air out" but it didn't really help.

This product really helps maintain a my iron levels. It is one of the few iron products that doesn’t give me some kind of GI upset. I have a Lapband. The tablets are large but I can get them down with a big chug of juice. I still cannot stomach them if I take them with just water but that is me with any iron containing medication. I had ordered this product for years then the last one I ordered smelled like peppermint. I was worried about taking them because I’d bought it from a new store. Turns out the manufacturer includes a peppermint tablet in each bottle. 🤷🏾‍♀️ Maybe it mask the medicina smell? It initially was a strong smell because I wasn’t used to it.
