If you've ever wanted a high quality match case, and you don't want to spend almost $40 for the Exotac Matchcap XL, this Chinese knock off is virtually the equivalent. It has a slightly different shape, but it comes with a striker board glued to the inside of the case, just like the Matchcap XL, and it has an O-ring seal. The only difference I can see is the fact that there is no striker board on the bottom of the case, but if desired, you could glue one on.

Perfect capsule to put items in when backpacking or hunting. The price was so great we gave them to our children and grandchildren

Handy waterproof storage for matches or medicine. It keeps my flintstone vitamins from swelling from humidity when I’m on the road.

Solid, smooth operation with effective moisture seal. Would definitely recommend!

The bad: comes without matches. But they send a bag with some cotton, q tips and disposable nail file, and another bag with a small sewing kit.The good: spare O ring, a split ring (use it to attach it to your keys, backpack...), and some paracord like material.The great: quality finish, great machining (no funny threading). Smooth opening and closing.Just buy some UCO matches and stuff this tough and waterproof case.

Yep: It’s a hollow aluminum capsule. It’s green. Mine screws together smoothly and tightly. The size matches the dimensions given. The “EDC” items included inside are basically junk, but I didn’t even notice they were included until I opened the package.As a random point, if you’re curious (as I was) the inside diameter is just a wee bit too small to fit a US quarter in. (They’ll fit in the cap, just not the body.)The extremely mixed reviews on here make me wonder if some sellers of questionable integrity are selling knock offs (of the knock off?), or if the quality control department is permanently out to lunch. Whatever the case, the one I received seems flawless.

This is a great tool for keeping whatever you wanna put in it safe and dry it's got a match strike on it that came off but I carry this with me everywhere I go and it's never let me down .
