Great shoe with just the right amount of heel support
Great shoe with just the right amount of heel support. I can't wear a minimalist shoe due to tearing my achilles. The heel to toe drop is as much as I could find in a cross training shoe. I have been very happy with the cushioning and support. The mesh upper is breathable but tight enough to hold my food soundly when moving laterally.

Decent choice for playing tennis & wide feet
New Balance is the only athletic shoe I can wear due to the width of my feet (4E). I was actually hunting for legit tennis court shoes, but New Balance's offerings in that realm are awful, and the sizing in that category doesn't match their other categories of shoes nor does it match up with current models I own and wear regularly. So I moved into the "training" or "cross-training" category for my next best bet and found the model 1267 to be ideal. The fit matched what I expected (US 8.5 4E), offered good but not great lateral construction compared to a legit court shoe made with a stiff leather lower, and the sole is firm yet very comfortable. For the price, however, I believe the finish of the shoe should be better. New Balance has gone downhill in this regard over the past several years. What I mean is seeing things like little foam nubs where the mold of the mid-sole was cut loose during manufacturing and the stitching not exactly matching from shoe to shoe (would only be noticeable to the owner). I will reserve judgment until I've worn them for a much longer period of time and will update this review, however, initial impression is that these may not last as long as previous pairs of New Balance that I've owned.

Sizes may run smaller than other brands
I actually go to try these on first but the store didn't have my color. This brand runs and little small plus at 61 years old my feet have changed. Normally I get Size 11 US but for this I go 12 4E. The store rep at NB store determined I needed this size and it fits great. I will not fully test them until my court sport league begins. I needed a wide shoe and NB is one of the few that offer shoes in so many widths.

Good arch support and very comfortable
Bought these for my husband, and he loves them. He's a workout freak, and needed some support in his feet as he loves cross training. He said these are the best shoes he's had in such a long time that are perfect for the gym (and not grossly overpriced for men's gym shoes). They provide really good arch support, something he really was looking for in a shoe. And, they are nice looking. I think I will get him another pair. Definitely recommend.

great shoe with a flaw
Great fit, great support. Both shoes split right next to my big toe, seems to be small area of mesh between two seams that just doesn't seem like enough material. might be ok in larger shoes but in an 8 they split within a week. very sad i've been wearing new balance from the mx1001 to the mx 1014 which i found a pair of on clearance at an outlet store, lucky me, but i need a replacemnt.

Good shoe but not true to size...
The shoes are very light and have a good feel to them. I ordered a size 10.5 4 E. They are not true to size. They are more like a 2E size 10. If you need a wide toe box you will not be able to wear them all day. The toe box unfortunately is narrow. My othodics fit but not easily.

Defective shoes caused painful problems - Buyer Beware
I now need special shoes for Plantar Fasciitis because of clear defects in the right shoe. If you look at the pictures, the instep for the right shoe is attached totally differently from the instep of the perfect left shoe. This caused my entire right foot to be rotated outward and I developed problems in my foot and back as a result. I didn't notice that the defective shoes were the cause until after the return policy with New Balance and Amazon. Amazon doesn't allow returns in the window and the best New Balance could do is send me a coupon for about a third of what I paid for these. I'm still in pain every day even though I am slowly recovering. Do yourself a favor and go to another brand. After years of wearing New Balance I am warning you that the company has changed. What bothered me most is they didn't stand completely behind their product even with a clear defect and I'm paying the price of their cheaper manufacturing with my health.

fluffy people will like these too
I am pleasantly surprised about the comfort of these. I always purchased the running versions of the NB because of the roll bar and wider base. However, these seem to massage my feet after a workout. Any pain I was feeling (I am a fluffy guy) quickly dissipates. These shoes are great. I hope they last as long as my other ones did.
