Perfect for hitting a few in the yard
Nice mat. Well made and durable. I like the three different turf lengths. It folds up into thirds allowing it to be tucked out of the way. It saves me from going to the range if I just want to hit a few balls. Great value.

Good quality product
This mat is terrific. I use it to practice my short game at a large field. It folds up small and it is holding up well with a lot of usage. I like the three different type of "grass" on the mat because it adds some variety to my practice. Good product.

Very good but a few issues
Good: The grass definitely mimics fairway and rough. I have a rapsodo setup behind my shots to check distances and there is easily a 5 yard loss in distance when hitting from the rough vs the fairway. It's super portable for when I want to put it away or move it around, folds up easy and folds out the same. In Between: As you can see in the picture the fairway portion is missing a bit of grass. According to my rapsodo I have hit just over 1000 shots. Although not all have been off the fairway portion, likely 750+ have been since I can't hit driver or woods in my garage with the ceiling height what it is. I wouldn't truly put this as a negative because for the price of $60, 750 shots and I can still hit around that area (even though it's getting bigger and bigger), seems like it's doing well. Just to compare vs the range, $10 for 80 balls, that's 12.5 buckets for $125 vs $60 for the mat. I have probably 300-400 more shots I can do on the fairway before it's unhittable, and then can move over to the rough area for quite a few more. That's minimally $175 worth of range balls I will have been able to hit in my garage and didn't even have to leave home. Seems like a pretty good overall for the price. Negatives: There are a couple, the mat does move when I hit and need to move it back into place so it's the right distance away from my Rapsodo. This isn't a huge deal and would be less so if I hit from the section where I would be using a tee. It's about every other shot depending on how much turf I catch on the swing. The second thing is the height. It sits about 3/8" off the ground, so to be true to being on a fairway, you are technically shortening your clubs by that, which can really throw someone off when they go to the real course and thin a lot of shots. The tee section is higher for obvious reasons and should only be used with a tee. I have placed a 4' x 6' horse barn mat to stand on next to it. It matches up flush with the mat and also gives a bit more traction than my normal garage floor. Plus if I put the ball close to the edge it still gives me a consistent contact. All in all I would definitely buy this again. I would probably opt for something that is fairway only, I mean, when do I ever hit in the rough? ;)

#1 golf tool for fun and practice
I have to say. This has to be one of the most useful tools to help with my golf swing and also allow me to practice when I cant get to the course. I have a townhome and I chip from one room into another room and try and get it into a laundry basket. I also just got a collapsible target so thats fun to do as well. I really only use the middle which is the rough but its nicer with the irons. I have used this item for a few months and about an hour everyday. Still looks brand new. Good buy. Also wanted to say this is great to take with you in the rv. Everywhere you go, you can just take it out and play some drinking games with it or just practice in general. Had a fun time traveling and playing with this.

A great little mat.
The mat is a good size and allows the ball to be places in several area on its surface (so not one spot gets hit every time). I have only used the long "grass" area, and on that, only my wedge. The long grass gives a bit more and allows the club face to slide below the ball. I can hit low shots or lob shots off this part of the mat. The only negative deals with the size. I use the mat on a crushed granite (fine gravel) area and the mat tends to move a little upon each strike with the club. After 4 or 5 hits I move the mat back to the starting position. I am considering heating up a screwdriver (red hot) and burning a couple of holes in the back of the mat. This process should create a melted zone around the holes to avoid any unravelling. I will then get a couple of 10" or 12" spikes, add an appropriate washer, and drive them into the dirt through the newly created holes. That should keep the mat in place during practice.

You have to stand outside of the mat. It makes the level different as reality. I'd be rather to have a larger one that I can stand at the same level as the ball.

I bought this mat for over €100 including shipping, expecting it to last. Unfortunately, the “fairway” section developed a large hole after just 4–5 short sessions hitting foam balls, with fairly minimal ground interaction. I’m not a steep swinger and don’t take big divots, so this level of wear is very disappointing. For the price, I expected a product that could handle normal practice use. Instead, it’s now unusable as a hitting mat. In my view, it’s not fit for purpose, and I’m currently seeking a refund from the seller. I'll provide an update re: customer service.

Love this mat!! I have an indoor setup with a net. I have simulated grass golf mats and with the addition of this it’s great. Practice fairway, second cut and tee box is an awesome addition to my setup With the ease of taking this mat outside to practice the short game is a great.

Buen tapete, se siente de buena calidad los tres tipos de pastos, las tees entran bien en el apartado Grass, y el Rough se siente de buena calidad, soy de uso constante y se ve que tiene un gran aguante. Ideal para entrenamiento en interiores.
