Hydor Professional External Canister Filter Media, Activated Carbon, Freshwater

It's hard to gush about activated charcoal, but what I can say is the product is exactly as advertised, the order was fast and easy, and the price actually beats most brick & mortar stores in the area.

Fit the filter i ordered it for Hydor Professional 350 Canister Filter, 280 GPH , but the filter its self arrived broken, so we sent it back and now have no need for the media, but im sure it would have been fine had we been able to use it.

Goldfish really shouldn't be this complicated. I bought a Hydor canister filter to get the ammonia levels down in our tank. When I ordered the filter, the description said that everything was included except for carbon, so I ordered the carbon. When I received the filter, I read the manual and it tells you that you if you use activated carbon, you should only use it for a few days and then take it out because it can leach the chemicals back into the water. The carbon serves a purpose, but I probably should have skipped buying this.

Love the new flexible 'cloth' containment mesh. MUCH easier to fit into filter system. Thank you Hydor!
