Airthings Wave Plus - Radon and Air Quality Monitor with CO2, VOC, Air Pressure, Humidity and Temperature Detector - 2910

Great product. We have purchased a few Wave Plus devices to monitor different rooms around our house. The set up was super easy and works with our EE wifi no problem at all. They take only a few minutes to set up and is very simple. The devices should be left for 30 days, especially if you are monitoring Radon which is what we were doing. The system then helps show you the average reading which is exactly what you need. They are great as the app works smoothly and you can check the readings whilst at home or out and about. It's quite addictive to check all the time :).The devices use a traffic light system which i great. Red for poor, amber for fair, and Green for good which again is extremely helpful especially when walking past a device. you can simply wave your hand in front of the device and it will glow - however, you need to look at the app to still see each reading and which one might be glowing red for example.i would highly recommend using these instead of paying a specialist to come and place devices in your home which you can buy yourself, to then tell you what the reading is in 30 days. For the same price as a specialist (Specialist = around £480 total) you can buy a few of these devices and have them monitoring your house forever - they will tell you exactly what a so-called specialist will for less money. Spend your money on a radon mitigation system after getting the results from the Airthings devices it works out a lot less money and the job is done properly.

This is a very expensive sensor, but it is high quality. It has a very premium setup experience, feels sturdy and has a nice feature in the indicator light which is presence-aware and gives you a quick “red”, “amber” or “green” indication of room air quality without needing to use an app. It also connects to Home Assidtant, which is a real bonus, too.

Good, but SmartLink connectivity with the View Plus hub is not stable.

I purchased this for a server room that has a lack of ventilation.. after only a few hours the sensors had calibrated and the app was already showing high levels of Co2.. which explains the headaches when a prolonged period of time was spent in this room without the doors open. I have to say this product is really well thought out, I love the app and the company outreach by email after registration that is just a warm and professional peace of quality contact to ensure you that the product is calibrating its sensors to give Radon readings. I can't sing its praises enough, an excellent product, really well deployed by the manufacturer and at a reasonable price for such an important item of safety equipment.As a result, this has highlighted for us the need to ventilation, and we have opted for an MVHR system, that will greatly improve air quality in the business. We are really pleased with this product and intend to buy another for a different location.Well done Airthings!

We are renovating. I used it to test the air quality throughout the build. The before and after data is really amazing to see.

Rubbish. I was suspicious with its measurements so put 2 devices close to each other, even the temperature measurements are 2 degrees different always! Radon is 50bqm different and when one shows it’s going up, other one shows it’s going down… They are totally random. I’ve 2 dysons in the same room and they show exactly the same values always, including the temperature - which the airthings never seem to get right at anytime. Avoid!

Working great with Home assistant and giving a lot of detail data. Bought it especially for Radon but also CO2 is a great addition.Had to change the batteries after 1 year, so great battery life.

And was going to get a full blown radon test but searches online brought me to AirThings. What a great little device (it is little - slightly smaller than your average smoke detector). I am happy to say we have great air quality all round! We only use the house occasionally hence the gap in the syncing although I could monitor things remotely if I purchased the gateway. Extremely easy to use with a summary screen and then details by each of the 6 things being measured. Each page has a link to "What are <contaminants / radon / TVOC / CO2 / humidity / temperature / air pressure>?". Expesive but worth it!
