Italian Cake, 35.25 oz (MADI CAKE 1 KG)

Absolutely delicious! We ate almost half of it out of the pkg. at room temperature. It’s not overly sweet with too much sugar, it’s moist, has an airy/stretchy texture, fresh, has a nice taste of orange & raisins. Just wonderful & well worth the cost. A beautiful treat to enjoy. It must take a lot of work to make this but its flavor & texture tells of the love put into making this bread. We were very happy with this bread & it’s big too.

I came back to write this review as I'm munching the last few bites of this amazing thing. I've had a few panettone over the years - usually one per holiday season at most, and usually an inexpensive one from a grocery or big box store. THIS year I decided to invest in one from Amazon that I hoped would be worth the $$. Well, every bite of this was delicious and it's easily the best one I've ever had. Packed with fruit, delicious holiday flavor, beautiful soft texture. We enjoyed it right out of the pkg at room temperature and also a couple of times sliced and toasted with butter. YUM! Thanks for a terrific product.

My father is obsessed with Panettone Cakes and was craving one again after Christmas. I found this one at a great price and was not disappointed. He loves it so much he's asked me to order 2 next time.

This is one of the best Panettone's I have ever had. The price fluctuates too much for my cheap soul, so I tend to only be able to get it pre-Thanksgiving and post-Christmas when the price isn't in outer space. This panettone stays soft for over a week and doesn't start to compact and get dense and funky like some others, which is nice, because it's a lot of cake to get through, so you can take your time and not feel rushed. There is a lot of dried fruit in this panettone and the citron was a nice surprise because usually that's only used in much more expensive panettone. I will be getting this again, once the price comes back down.

Over the years I've tried a number of Panettone cakes and this one is the most delicious because it is made with real butter! This is a holiday favorite you will want to experience all year long! It is filled with just the right amount of dried fruits and peels. What is nice is it keeps fresh in a bag you can reclose and keep in the box. I slice a piece of bread/cake and then spread on a little butter. Then heat it in the microwave for a few seconds and then sprinkle on some confectioners'/powdered sugar. Delicious! This cake was fresh and tastes perfect! I much prefer this bread over the ones with palm oil in them. ~The Rebecca Review

It's too moist for my taste, I would like it more if it was like bread.
