I can’t recommend Protexin Veterinary Pro-Kolin Advanced Gut Health Paste for Dogs highly enough! It has been an absolute lifesaver for my dog’s sensitive tummy. After a bout of digestive upset, I was looking for something reliable and vet-recommended — and this product truly delivered. Within a very short time of using the paste, I noticed a clear improvement. My dog was more comfortable, settled, and back to their happy self much quicker than I expected. The syringe makes it incredibly easy to administer, even with a slightly reluctant patient! The consistency is smooth, and it’s simple to measure the correct dose. I also love that it contains multiple beneficial ingredients to support gut health, not just a quick fix. It’s reassuring to have something so effective on hand for those unexpected tummy troubles. I now always keep a tube in the cupboard just in case. If your dog has a sensitive stomach or occasional digestive issues, this is definitely worth having. Highly recommended!

A decent enough product but not instantly effective, my experience is that stools begin to improve after a couple of days but as I adopt a different feeding regime as well that is probably also having an effect. Would recommend any concerned owner to persevere with a period of starvation followed by meals consisting of something bland like boiled chicken & boiled rice - small & frequently for sickness but slightly larger in size and once or twice per day for bouts of diarrhoea (provide plenty of clean fresh water) BUT NOT AT THE COST OF NOT SEEING A VET IF SYMPTOMS PERSIST. Other products such as Bob Martin's tablets kind of work for my dogs as well. You know your pet, no need to keep making your vet rich by visiting him/her if the pet has mild symptoms but equally don't take risks just in order to save a few quid.

Within just a few hours of giving it, his stools firm up and he’s back to himself again. I used to be running to the vet constantly for this problem, but now I just keep a tube in the cupboard and reach for it whenever it’s needed. The price isn’t bad at all, and when you think about what you’d spend on repeated vet visits, it’s totally worth it. My dog’s a really fussy eater, but he actually loves the taste of this—he licks it straight off my hand! On the rare occasion he doesn’t fancy it, it’s really easy to give, so no hassle there either. Honestly, I wouldn’t be without this paste now. It’s effective, easy to use, and gives me real peace of mind knowing I’ve got it on hand for when his tummy plays up.

Great stuff, really settles the dogs guts and much cheaper than purchasing from the vet.

Pro kolin advanced. Very good worked almost straight away. This is what vets usually have prescribed my dog in the past. I use this if my dog has eaten anything and just has a day of loose stool, however if diarrhoea lasts more than two days or is very large amount and water is not being drunk I would advise take to the vet asap as they can get get easily dehydrated, especially young dogs :9)

Both of my dogs were sick and let’s just say it was unpleasant for ALL. A friend told me about this and wow it worked so great! I’m so glad to have learned about it! I intend on keeping some for my dogs!

I used this product when my 16 year old bichon dog had a rumbling tummy. I gave my tiny little lady the smallest amount on the dispenser. After 3 doses (3 meals, a day and a half) she was good as new.
