fit perfect on a 4 inch corrugated pipe. does the job. i would tape it or use a zip tie to secure it a bit more but overall good product.

Sturdy. Made of heavy duty plastic. Fit perfectly over my 4" corrugated drain pipe. The only problem is that it appears to be made for use on vertical drains i.e. sits unsecured in the drain pipe. I needed the grate for my horizontal drain. I was able to fix the problem by attaching a couple of bolts. The grate pops into place and is secured by the bolt heads in the groves of the corrugated pipe. The grate is easily removed to clear debris if necessary. Worked well following a recent heavy rain.

Fits loosely in a 4" PVC pipe. This is great for downspout drains that come up flat in your yard as it will allow the grate to pop up when it gets plugged with leaf debris.For horizontal drain pipes, you may need to add tape or glue or something. Otherwise, it will get pushed out easily and may wash down stream. In my case, I drilled a hold on the PVC so I could add a zip tie to secure the grate. This will keep critters out, but still allow it to get pushed out at the bottom if/when it gets plugged with debris. Easily removable if I need to manually clean it out, but it won't float away in a big downpour.

Look, it’s not glamorous… it’s not exciting… it’s a round black plastic cover. But when you need one, you really need one. I got this to keep rodents, leaves, and who-knows-what from crawling into my 4" drain pipe, and it does exactly that — no complaints from the squirrel union so far.Honestly, I checked every local hardware store, and none of them carried this exact size or type. So instead of doing the “wandering the aisle” dance for the third time, I ordered this one, and boom — problem solved.It snaps right on, fits snug, and hasn’t blown off in a storm (yet). Great value for the price. The plastic is sturdier than I thought it would be. I have a drain in my garage floor with a 4" opening. This fit absolutely perfectly. It drops into the opening and sat on the ledge just below the floor just as it should.
