These plates are very durable. They are a good size for any meal or snacking. The color does vary from beige to a lighter or darker beige but the quality is the same. The only drawback is that occasionally two plates are so stuck together that they can’t be separated. Otherwise, very durable, great for every day usage and can be used in the microwave.

At a large gathering for my sister's celebration of life, these compostable plates were completely up to the task! Unlike paper plates, these held up even handling salad with various dressings and sauces, dolmas, soft cheeses and hummus..no leaks, no drips . The plates remained stable, even with guests walking around from group to group. The plates blended nicely with the cream and purple decorations, too, and not a single breakthrough onto the cloths and runners. I have used other compostable plates that, when wet, flaked a little after a time. These did not. Guests even took food home rubber banded in between a couple of these. Absolutely I will buy these for future gatherings!

Made from some kind of sugarcane residue, these don't contribute to deforestration. And they are very strong, not a chance of these collapsing.

These fully compostable paper plates are a great values and can be used for any occasion. I have repeatedly purchased them as they are the perfect size, are sturdy and are completely compostable. They compost perfectly oin my Lomi composter and add dry materials while composting.
