Q: will this work if you want virgin shots?

Sure. Just do not add alcohol instead add water

Q: Can I add a little extra liquid so it won’t be so thick?

I really wouldn’t, unless. You add more unflavoured Gelatin, there’s a reason it needs to be thick. Consistency, is very important when it comes to making Jello. I think the same is true for this. I Personally wouldn’t add any extra liquid.

Q: Does this setup as white in color?

Yes, it’s completely white jello. PS they came out really well. We used small cups, that you can buy at the grocery store.

Q: How long does it take to become jello ?

About an hour or so it is set. It takes the same amount of time as regular jello to set.
