I found no studies whatsoever that indicated that it would be unsafe to consume such a quantity each day. Just to make sure that I was playing it safe, I looked up the symptoms of Vitamin D toxicity and made sure that none of them were affecting me. The symptoms of hypercalcemia resulting from too much Vitamin D include: feeling sick or being sick poor appetite or loss of appetite feeling very thirsty passing urine often constipation or diarrhea abdominal pain muscle weakness or pain feeling confused feeling tired To the contrary, I found that by taking the Healthy Origins Vitamin D3 Gels on a daily basis, they made me feel a whole lot better. My depression faded away, my energy levels improved, and my general feeling of health reached levels it hasn't attained in years. The bottom line is that many doctors will advise against taking this product.
